About

Who I am

I'm a sustainability professional working at the intersection of climate change and local government. I believe equitable climate action must be community-led and racially just.

I've built my career serving the Indianapolis public, most recently as Project Manager of the City's Office of Sustainability, where I execute adaptation and mitigation projects aligned with the city's sustainability and resilience action plan, Thrive Indianapolis. I've led citywide greenhouse gas emission inventories, earned top scores for ESG reporting, and helped the office secure more than $30 million in grants.

I'm one of the primary public-facing voices for the office — routinely appearing in print articles, TV news segments, and on social media to explain city sustainability initiatives to the public. My skills include community engagement, strategic communications, media relations, grantwriting, grant management, event planning, and cross-sectoral and inter-departmental goal alignment.

In April 2024, I co-chaired the Midwest Climate Collaborative's 2nd Annual Summit, bringing together 300+ attendees from 12 states and raising more than $45,000 in sponsorships. I curated the keynote lineup — including activist Leah Thomas (Intersectional Environmentalist), youth climate activist Raina Maiga, the Mayor of Indianapolis, and the Chancellor of IU Indianapolis. I also serve on the board of Earth Day Indiana.

I was born and raised in West Michigan and am an alumna of Butler University's Lacy School of Business, where I majored in International Business and minored in Spanish. I completed continuing education from the Yale School of Public Health.
